From the young to the elderly, and even the non-permanently disabled- experience all that is available to help you without making the long trip to the city. Taree Show Ground is a wheelchair accessible ground, with disabled facilities available and camping permitted. We hope to see you there at The 2009 UDR Expo!
HISTORY: UDR Expo was thought up by local man, Bruce Cole who 33 years ago broke his neck while attempting a very difficult swan dive into an above ground swimming pool. He thought up the idea of creating an expo right here in Taree after noticing the lack of help and information available for people in a similar situation to himself. With the help of Wendy Thorne, from North Coast Community Care as part of the Pulse Health Group, this vision has become a reality. With Wendy's thorough knowledge of the industry and Bruce's first hand experience, this is a collaboration that will bring many people to the event. Adrik Ramsay, from Elm Leaf Productions, was one of the many volunteers responsible for designing/producing the ad for Television. Without the help of sponsors the event wouldn't be possible.
